FTP and SFTP

Your main access

• Server: ftp.yourname.com
• Username and password: your hosting ones (in your welcome email; you can reset the password on your service page)
• Port: 21 (FTP) or 22 (SFTP, more secure)

Free software like FileZilla works great.

Give someone limited access

Your webmaster or a collaborator only needs one folder? Go to Control panel → FTP:
1. Choose a username and the allowed folder (e.g. public_html/blog).
2. Click Create account. The password is shown only once.

You can change its password or delete the account anytime.
