The file manager
Go to Control panel → Files. Your site lives in the public_html folder.
What you can do
- Browse: click a folder to open it, ↑ .. to go up.
- Upload files: choose one or more files, then Upload.
- Upload a whole site: make a
.zipof your site, upload it, then click Extract. - Edit a text file (HTML, CSS, PHP, .htaccess…) right in the page, then Save.
- Create a folder or an empty file.
- Rename, Download, change permissions (usually 644 for files, 755 for folders).
- Delete: tick the items, then Delete selected. This is permanent.
The maximum size per uploaded file is shown under the button. For very large files, use FTP.
