Terms of service

Last updated: October 19, 2026

These terms of service (the "Terms") govern the web hosting services offered under the name Trinity Host. Trinity Host is owned and operated by Trinity Records Inc., 410 Rue Saint-Nicolas, Suite 236, Montréal, Québec H2Y 2P4 ("we", "us"). By ordering a service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The services

We provide web hosting (storage, bandwidth, email, databases, SSL certificate) according to the plan you choose, as well as Trinity OS, a musician's website you can install in one click. Each plan's limits are listed on the Plans page. You are responsible for your domain name, renewing it with your registrar, and pointing it to our nameservers.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your passwords confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Prices, payment and renewal

  • Prices are in Canadian dollars, plus applicable taxes.
  • Services are paid in advance, monthly or yearly. Your hosting is activated as soon as the first payment is received.
  • Services renew automatically. A renewal invoice is issued about 10 days before the due date. If you saved a card, it is charged on the due date; you can turn autopay off at any time in your client area.
  • Accepted payments: credit card (processed by Stripe) and Interac e-Transfer.
  • We may change our prices with at least 30 days' notice. The new price applies at your next renewal.

4. Late payment

If an invoice is still unpaid 7 days after its due date, the service may be suspended. It is reactivated automatically once paid. If a service stays suspended for more than 30 days, we may terminate it and permanently delete its content.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time from your client area, with no penalty. The service stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, then it is closed and its content deleted. Except where required by law, partial periods are not refunded. Remember to download a copy of your files before your period ends.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use our services to:

  • host or distribute illegal or hateful content, or content that exploits minors;
  • distribute music, videos, images or other works without owning the rights or holding the necessary licences;
  • send unsolicited email (spam) or breach Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation;
  • host malware or phishing, or attack other systems;
  • overload the server to the point of affecting other customers (cryptocurrency mining, abusive scripts, etc.).

If you breach these rules, we may suspend or terminate the service, without notice if necessary. To report abuse: abuse@trinity-host.net.

7. Your content and copyright

You keep ownership of your content. You only grant us the right to host, copy (including for backups) and display it as needed to provide the service. If we receive a copyright infringement notice about your content, we will forward it to you as required by the Copyright Act and may remove the content in question.

8. Backups

We back up our servers regularly, but our backups don't replace your own. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of your content.

9. Availability and liability

We make every reasonable effort to keep the services available at all times, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation (maintenance, outages, events beyond our control). To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the last 12 months, and we are not liable for indirect losses (lost revenue, data or goodwill). Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under Québec's Consumer Protection Act.

10. Trinity Records Inc.'s intellectual property

Trinity Host and Trinity OS are the exclusive property of Trinity Records Inc. This includes the names and marks "Trinity Host" and "Trinity OS", the logos, the trinity-host.net website, the client area, the text, the design, and the source code and software of Trinity Host and Trinity OS. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.

Trinity OS licence: for as long as you host with us, Trinity Records Inc. grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Trinity OS for one site per installation, on our servers. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, sublicense, modify for redistribution, or install Trinity OS anywhere other than Trinity Host without our written permission. The licence ends automatically when your service ends.

You keep all rights to your own content (music, text, images, videos) published with Trinity OS (see section 7). Any third-party service keys you add to it (Stripe, Anthropic, etc.) are yours, and their use is subject to those providers' terms. The "Site by Trinity Host" credit can be removed in Trinity OS settings.

11. Changes

We may change these Terms. We will notify you by email at least 30 days before a significant change takes effect. If you don't accept the changes, you can cancel your service at no charge.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The parties have required that these Terms be drawn up in French and English; if the versions differ, the French version prevails.
