Updates and automatic updates

Trinity OS gets better often. Every update keeps your content, settings, skin and files; a backup of the code is made first.

Automatic updates

They're on by default: each new version installs by itself within the hour. You can turn them off per site: client area → Trinity OS → Updates. If you edit your site's code yourself, turn them off so your changes aren't replaced.

Update by hand

With automatic updates off, you get an email for each new version. Click Update in the Updates tab: it's done in about a minute.

What's new

The Updates tab lists what's new in each version. In your site's admin, About and updates shows your version and the history.
