Point your domain and turn on SSL (https)
Change your nameservers
- Sign in at your domain registrar.
- Find the DNS or Nameservers section.
- Choose "custom nameservers" and enter:
ns1.trinity-host.netns2.trinity-host.net
- Save. Propagation takes a few minutes to 24 hours.
The SSL padlock
The SSL certificate is free and automatic. We check your domain every 3 hours: as soon as it points to us, the certificate is requested and installed, then renewed on its own. You get an email when the padlock is on.
On your service page, the SSL (https) line shows where things stand:
- Active: all good.
- Being issued: your domain points here, the certificate is on its way (usually under an hour).
- Waiting: your domain doesn't point to us yet. Check your nameservers.
The Check now button checks again right away (once every 5 minutes).
Using Cloudflare?
That works: keep Cloudflare as your nameservers and point your domain's A record to our server. Write to us and we'll give you the IP address.
